HISTORY
I think I started my first site in 2002 and it was a fansite dedicated to J-Pop, the japanese pop music. It didn't last for very long and I soon started my first personal site under the name "Golden Shimmer".
The site lasted about three months (maybe a bit longer or shorter) and I then called the site "Independent Lady" and a added a bit more content to site, especially stuff for the visitors.
Independent Lady lasted about 5-7 months, but I got bored with the name and tried to think of a few great domain names, because I had discovered a pretty good hosting site (not too expensive). A few popped into my mind, but some were taken and some others stole my ideas after I had posted them in a forum to ask for opinions.
Then the word "vivicity" came into my mind (I changed the word vivacity). I loved the domain and registered it with all-inkl.com, my host. I bought the hosting package in April, 2004. I had fun doing the site, but I took down the visitor stuff after one year in 2005.
In May 2006 I really wanted a new domain. I still loved vivicity.org, but I thought a change was necessary, so I did it.
I've had a few ideas and paintedsilence.org was one of them. I asked some friends for their opinion on the domain names and then I decided to buy paintedsilence.org in June 2006.
So the site is finally here and it's the first layout of the site that's online right now.
The domain was inspired by a song, but I don't know which anymore. lol
